Dear Team...

Dear AhA team members,

I have been hard at work trying to bring a great way for all of you to become acquainted with one another. This blog is a way for all of you to share your input, articles, win some great prizes from other members of the team, have your shop featured, advertise etc. The possibilities are endless!

You are welcomed to submit articles for the blog as well as article ideas you would like to see. I really hope you will enjoy this blog and all the great projects we have coming for the team.

Submissions should be sent via convo on Etsy through any one of the team captains or you can email them directly to me at jenvy.accessories@gmail.com

There will be sponsorship options, which will help the team blog grow.

All the team captains, Kelleen, Sarah and Myself are working hard so all of the memebers get noticed and can gain exposure for their shops as well. The team has been growing quite rapidly and I am very happy at the response we've been getting! Our BNS treasuries have been a great success and many of our promotion games as well! This team has truly become a family!

September is already here, the kids are either back in school or will be in a few days. The leaves will soon begin to change color and fall down. So what better way than to start off our blog than with a shared recipe from one of our team members and our very own Co-Captain Kelleen!

Here's one of my favorite holiday cookie recipes to get our blog started off!!

I have to make them every year. They are so good! I always want to eat them all in one sitting.


SPECIAL K COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
1/2 Cups Corn Syrup
2 1/4 Cups Crunchy Peanut Butter
9 Cups Special K Cereal
1 12oz Bag of Chocolate Chips
1 12oz Bag of Butterscotch Chips

Step 1:

Bring the sugar and corn syrup to a rolling boil.

Step 2:

Add the peanut butter and mix thoroughly until dissolved.

Step 3:

Add Special K cereal. Mix well. Press mixture onto a large pan (9 x 13) and 1 smaller pan.

Step 4:

Melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Once melted spread over the top of the Special K mixture.

Step 5:

Place in the refrigerator and let it harden. Then take out and cut into squares.

Step 6:

ENJOY!
